Overview

Material Planner is required to join my client a tier 1 automotive supplier where you will be responsible for ensuring the correct, optimum supply of components and the provision of efficient movements of materials – inbound and outbound. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market-leading manufacturing organization.

This is an office based role – Monday to Thursday 7am- 4pm and Fridays 7am- 1pm.

Job Duties as their Material Planner :

Effectively plan production orders according to customer calls with regards to time feasibility and manage expectations. Strong negation skills to help resolve any bottleneck situations. To create an accurate dispatch plan to monitor deliveries.
Manage stock levels, accuracy, and stock variance investigations.
Manage all customer portals to ensure there is no distribution to manufacturing or delivery dispatch
To maintain and drive KPIS
Analyse demand forecasts
Resolve errors within the system (Cogi) to enable accurate information flows.
Manage material issues in respect to modifications (GECOS), and engineering changes to ensure minimum stock
Understand logistics processes and drive within the Value Stream

To be successful in this role we would like to talk to you:

If you have experience working within the Automotive industry ideally- if not a strong manufacturing background.
Have great interpersonal skills, logical mindset, and target driven.
SAP Experience is essential
Strong IT Data entry skills and using customer web portals is necessary
Excellent Time Management
