Trevor James are looking for a friendly and professional Finance Assistant to join a well-established Security and Intelligence Solutions Firm in rural Herefordshire. The company, founded in 2009, pride themselves on the discrete and quality service that they provide to Government, Law Enforcement, and Defensive entities. This is a new role being created due to continued success and expansion, and is perfect for anyone looking to expand their knowledge and skills within a supportive and challenging environment.
Finance Assistant Package Includes:
£20,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience
Extensive training and development opportunities, including potential for relevant study support in future
25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), accumulating 1 day for every full year of employment, up to 5 added days

Finance Assistant Responsibilities Include:
Purchase Ledger support such as processing invoices and receipts, and reconciling supplier statements
Weekly & Monthly payment runs
Employee Expenses
Assisting with Credit Control
Working closely with other (non-finance) teams to provide direct financial insight including analysing and re-assessing costs and margins
Ensuring quality and accuracy of recording and data entry onto Xero
The ideal Finance Assistant has:
Experience working within a financial role
Strong organisational and administrative skills
IT competence, particularly with Microsoft Packages
The ability to prioritise and self-motivate under pressure
An adaptable and flexible approach to completing tasks
