Our Thame based client is looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Procurement and Operations Assistant to join the small busy team who is familiar with purchasing and supplier relationships in a manufacturing environment.
The successful Procurement and Operations Assistant will have:
* Experience of working in an office environment and of communicating effectively with suppliers and manufacturing staff members alike.
* A friendly and professional manner is essential, together with attention to detail and a willingness to take on a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, analysis and presentation.
* The ability to demonstrate a track record of success in reducing costs whilst ensuring continuity of supply and quality are met will be required.
Key responsibilities for this Procurement and Operations Assistant role are:
* Running re-order reports for current stock status Compiling, placing, tracking and recording orders.
* Ensuring Manufacturing always have the correct components required
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 – 5.30pm
Salary guide: up to £25,000, depending on level of experience
