Salary: up to £28,000 plus benefits including onsite parking

Our client a well-known established firm of Accountants and Business advisors based in corporate offices in Rochdale

You will be joining a team and take responsibility for the timely, efficient, and accurate delivery of payroll for a portfolio of Clients, including record-keeping and reporting, to ensure that all deadlines are met.

You are likely to bring:

* A good working knowledge of practical payroll matters and current HMRC legislation including RTI

* Good English both written and verbal

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work under own initiative

* Willing to work as part of a team and help on all matters but also be able to work autonomously when necessary

* Responsible, trustworthy, reliable, self-motivated

You will be involved with:

* Contact for payroll service clients

* Preparing, processing, maintaining, and submitting accurate payroll information and records as required

* Data entry for all personnel transactions such as new hires, terminations, leave of absence, benefits deductions

* Calculating and processing of deductions including PAYE, Tax, NI, SSP, SMP; statutory and BACS payments and statutory year end returns

* FPS/EPS submissions
