Payroll Administrator

Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our well-known client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.

This job would suit someone with previous payroll experience and excellent attention to detail with strong administration and customer service skills. The main purpose of this role will be to administer payroll data and ensure accurate and timely submissions to the payroll system, whilst maintaining correct records.

This is a well-established and exciting company which is highly regarded within their industry and has enjoyed continual growth.

The successful individual will have great communication and presentation skills along with an excellent level of numeracy and grammar. A good telephone manner with great interpersonal skills is vital to this role. Good attention to detail is imperative as well as good excel skills.

Job responsibilities:

Expenses – querying and ensuring expenses are paid correctly
Dealing with any payroll query's
Maintaining the shared inbox
Chasing for timesheets
Liaising with recruitment – new starters, agreement packages
Updating spreadsheets with relevant information
Preparing and sorting timesheets for data entry
Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted
Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete timesheets
Admin adhoc
