Materials Handler/Stores Coordinator

Drivers Licence
Forklift Licence

Full-Time 6 am – 3 pm with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities of the role
• Unloading goods.
• Receiving and checking goods against orders.
• Inspecting for damage.
• Moving goods around a store.
• Stocking shelves.
• Stacking bulky goods safely.
• Picking Stock and recording its movements
• Updating the Warehouse management system
• Data entry and paperwork.
• Moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift.
• Placing Orders and Procurement

The Storepersons/ Material Controllers are responsible for ensuring all goods received into the company are in good condition and correspond with the correct paperwork. They will ensure all materials are well stocked and the warehouse/ storage areas are organised and well maintained. Ultimately all stock comes under their management, and they must keep accurate inventories/stores.
