Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Derbyshire – Hybrid working
Salary: 25-28k Dept on exp
We are looking to recruit several experienced IT candidates across the Derbyshire area to provide high level IT Support to employees and clients. All client are offering hybrid working 3-4 days from home
The role of IT Support Engineer involves:
Day to day IT service delivery, management of servers, responding to incidents logged, network issues etc
Providing 1st/ 2nd line technical problem solving/ network management support
Technical support, monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
Resolving technical and application problems either over the phone or in person
Testing and evaluating new technology
Talking employees through basic password resets, lock outs and setting up new users
Support of Microsoft SQL Server to query and update various databases to produce reports, applications and finding data entry errorsThe ideal candidate for the role of IT Support Engineer would ideally have the following experience:
1st and 2nd line support experience and technical problem solving//troubleshooting abilities
An excellent understanding of PC set ups
SQL experience ideal but not essential
The willingness to work on all levels of IT issues both hard and software
