Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a HR Administrative Assistant at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £19,871 per annum.

The Chichester College Group is the largest provider of further education in Sussex and is comprised of 5 Colleges based at Chichester, Crawley, Worthing, Haywards Heath, and Brinsbury near Pulborough which is land-based. Through our colleges, we educate and train around 25,000 full and part-time students every year and provide teaching excellence to meet the future needs of the region's employers.

The HR Administrative Assistant role:

The Chichester College Group is seeking an efficient and customer focused Administrative Assistant to join their friendly team. Based at the Group’s campus in the centre of Chichester, you will support the recruitment process by processing applications, preparing invites, making arrangements for interviews and obtaining required data. In addition, you will provide a welcoming reception service for the HR team.

Key Responsibilities of our HR Administrative Assistant:

Provide an efficient and customer-focused reception service for the HR team, dealing with enquiries from staff and members of the public.

Support the recruitment process by processing applications, drafting correspondence, preparing paperwork, making arrangements for interviews and obtaining required data.

Process confidential documentation and correspondence, including post and e-mail, and log information on the Human Resources Information System.

Create and maintain personal and job vacancy files, ensuring the information is kept up-to-date.

Support the health and well-being programmes and capture of the relevant data.

Support the HR team to implement designated HR projects.

Our ideal HR Administrative Assistant should have the below skills and experience:

GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths at grade C or above

Experience of office administration including data entry

Experience of working within a customer focussed environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
