Overview

You would be expected to work 4 on 4 off, which would include a Saturday or Sunday.

On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with. If you are keen to progress, Greencore can also offer development opportunities to further your career.

Role Details:

Shift Times: 6pm to 6am 
Pay Rate: We offer a total rate of £10.53 to £11.58 per hour, made up from base rates and incentives.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off  Full time, Permanent.
Making sure all inbound vehicles are aware of site safety rules.
Booking vehicles in and out on relevant spreadsheets.
Temperature ticket collection and filing.
Checking inbound vehicles for height and ensuring no third party hauliers use our depot for driver training.
Direct HGV inbound load on to relevant bays.
Direct inbound van loads in to van loading area.
Clearing down handheld’s
Data entry and filing.
Vehicle safety/hygiene checks.
Manage inbound load plan.
Conducting Internal & External patrols
Candidate will need to be able to work with little supervision and be computer literate.
Protecting people, ensuring no unauthorised persons are admitted in prohibited areas

Our Distribution Centre in Tamworth is a major picking depot, employing more than 150 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 80 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What we’re looking for -Have excellent understanding of English, written & communication.

·Ability to remain alert and aware of surroundings

-Be able to work independently as this role will be lone working.

-Candidate will need to be able to work with little supervision and be computer literate.
