Salary: £20475 per annum of £10.50 per hour (hourly rate) plus good company benefits. Possibility of seasonal bonuses.
The role:
We are looking for a customer service representative to join our client, a small, friendly & dynamic office team based in South Chailey. Own transport would be required due to the rural location of the office.
You will be one of the first points of contact for the company, requiring you to assist customers with their enquiries over the phone. There are certainly no sales calls.
Alongside answering inbound telephone calls, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly and accurately enter data in to the bespoke systems, either from paper forms or whilst assisting customers over the phone.
The company will rely on you for keeping their records accurate and up-to-date and a keen eye for detail will therefore be essential.
Due to the nature of the task and training requirements, it is a fully office based role.
Responsibilities will include:
– Answering incoming telephone calls and handling customer enquiries
– Data entry and computer administration work
– Dealing with incoming and out going mail
– Making some outbound calls to customers with queries (not sales calls / cold calls)
– Answering emails
– Sorting and organising paperwork
Skills required:
Full training will be given to the successful applicant, but the following are attributes and skills which will help you complete the required tasks :
– Polite and confident telephone manner, with an ability to quickly understand the customer's requirements
– Good keyboard skills
– Good command of the English language, both written and oral
– Customer service skills
– Experience of data entry
– Attention to detail
My client will also consider candidates with little or no experience as long as they have a good / polite phone manner and possess good computer skills. Full company training is provided for this great role within a lovely company.
