We are an independent Engineering Inspection business. We have over 600 highly skilled Engineer Surveyors and Engineering Consultants who inspect, test and report on industrial machinery from coffee machines to tower cranes in order to keep the UK safe. We have over 160 years’ experience and are proud to have evolved into the successful company we are today. Everything we do has been tried and tested. What will I be doing?

As an Administrator with British Engineering Services you will provide administrative support to the Quality and Control team by completing data cleansing across various different systems. Our customers really matter to us, so you will also work closely with our them and internal teams to ensure that our customers receive the best quality service, on time, every time.

As part of your role you’ll also be expected to complete a qualification in Customer Service through our apprenticeship scheme, which would be an ideal start to your career with British Engineering Services.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Identifying and rectifying errors across all British Engineering Services Systems

* Contacting customers and brokers to ensure accuracy of Customer data

* Maintaining full accuracy when updating any records to ensure that no data quality issues incur

* Completing regular data audits to ensure that all data is accurate

* Supporting the Quality and Control Team with ad hoc tasks

* Providing general administrative support to the wider business

What experience do I need?

Our team consists of the BEST Administrators, we should know, we trained them! You don’t need heaps of experience, just the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. Keeping Britain Safe.

Your experience may include:

* Previous exposure to an office environment

* Administration and/or data entry skills

* Great attention to detail and organisation skills

* Able to work individually and as part of a team

* An egarness to complete your Customer Service qualification through our apprenticeship scheme
