Salary: £11.80 Per Hour, with the potential to rise after completing inhouse training/qualification to £13.84

Shift: Monday to Friday – 09:00 till 17:00

Igloo are currently recruiting for 3 administrators for our client based in Coventry (CV6). Our customer is a logistics company who deal with the logistics and distribution of automotive parts and products all over the UK and Europe.

In this role you will be required to support operational staff on all customs issues, as well as coordinating and overseeing the clearance of goods and keep inline with rules and regulations.

The Role:

* Working in the customs and tax team

* Process freight import and export customer entries

* Contacting any new and existing customers and obtain their clearance instructions

* Data entry using inhouse software and Microsoft packages

* Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and internal departments

* Speaking to customer and internal departments about any query’s and making sure they are resolved in a timely manor

* Other Duties as and when required

What kind of person we are looking for?:

* Administration experience

* Customs experience or experience with tax is desirable but not essential

* Very strong computer skills as most of the job will be using a computer

* Strong communication skills, as you will be speaking and emailing customers and internal departments

* Can work on their own or in a team

* Well organised
