AMJ Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work for a Well Established Business in the Derby area, based in DE72

This client is looking for candidates to GROW with them, and be part of their long term plans – this is an exciting time to join a rapidly expanding business!

Shifts: Day Shift

Term – Temporary, but can go Permanent for the right person

Pay: £11.00 (Flexible dependent on Experience)

Start Date: ASAP

About the role
As an Accounts Assistant, your role will be……

• Data entry of purchase invoices and supplier invoices on to Sage Accounts
• Control of purchase invoices for supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Check incoming invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Check subcontractor invoices against orders or with the QS to gain authorisation to pass the invoice for payment
• Manage and follow up purchase invoice queries
• Ensure all suppliers details and bank details for new suppliers are correct
• Filing / admin as required

• Experience within a construction firm preferable
• Sage 50 Accounts experience
