Overview
As a Receptionist for our public sector client you will be seen as the face of the Outpatient Department.
Job role
You will be required to manage general enquiries from patients / carers, book new and follow up appointment as required and outcome appointments upon arrival.
Main duties
To provide a warm and welcoming reception service to the department
Maintaining clinic diaries, checking patient case notes
Answering queries over the phone and face to face
Data entry using various systems
Booking appointments, arranging follow up appointments, outcoming appointments in line with RTT
Arranging interpreters for appointments when requiredEssential requirements
Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office and I.T systems and packages
Previous administration / receptionist experience
Be able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and empathy
Willingness to learnContract – Temporary, ongoing
Pay – £9.50 per hour rising after 12 weeks
Hours – Full time and part time positions available, Monday to Friday
Location – Swansea
