Overview

Our client, who is based within the public sector, has an urgent requirement for a night shift Contact Centre Operator. This requirement is until December 2022, with a possible extension until March 2023. This role will be based in Eurocentral Lanarkshire. The pay rate will be £11.55 plus shift allowance of 27% – £14.67 per hour. Night Shift 4 on 4 off rotating shift:
Shift rotation Monday to Friday 21:45-08:15 Saturday and Sunday 20:00-08:00
A basic disclosure Scotland certificate dated within last 12 months is required for this role.

Job Role:
To process calls and email enquiries received at the Contact Centre efficiently, paying particular attention to the detail and nature of the calls/emails.
Ensure the accurate and complete recording of information.
To pass enquiries / complaints made to the Contact Centre to the appropriate person / team for action, quickly and efficiently and in accordance with procedure.
To undertake basic regulatory support tasks
To ensure all calls are recorded accurately and are processed in line with current procedures.
To assist in the management of databases and other records by recording, inputting, and maintaining specific information relating to the duties of the Contact Centre
To liaise with both external and internal contacts as appropriate in relation to the nature and type of enquiries received.
Data Entry tasks
Key skills
Knowledge and practical use of IT packages, especially Microsoft Office Suite. Desirable to have used (url removed) and Storm telephone platform.
Experience with dealing with customers over the telephone essential. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus and a good telephone manner. Tactfulness, diplomacy, and confidentiality essential.
