Brand New Bookkeeping role***
We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced bookkeeper to join a growing team within a highly regarded, modern and reputable practice based on the outskirts of Bury / Ramsbottom / Rossendale.
The role is full-time Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm though 30 hours would be available as would a hybrid split of home and office.
Salary: 25-30k per annum – (pro rata if part-time)
Reporting to senior staff you will be responsible for bookkeeping in accordance with company procedures, meeting all necessary deadlines.
Duties will include:
• Accurate data entry and processing
• Purchase ledger management and reconciliations
• Sales ledger management and reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Entering journals
• Management reporting
• Complete bookkeeping to Trial Balance ready for accounts production
• Liaising with HMRC
• Regular communication with clients
• Resolving client queries
Candidate requirements:
• Management Accounts preparation experience desirable
• The ability to work both alone and within a team
• Very good knowledge of Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
• AAT or qualified by experience is essential
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience is essential
