Duties
You would be working within a Supported Living environment which provides support for Young Adults who have learning disabilities. This fantastic service provides support & education for younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities. You will support with:
* Life Skills & the opportunity to reach their full potential.
* Personal Care needs inc personal hygiene and dressing
* Activities – Shopping trips, leisure activities, hobbies
* Assist with Therapies inc Hydro Therapy, Sensory rooms.
* Support with Music and Art in the Skills centre
* Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
* Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
* Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the Young Adults & your work colleagues.
* Recording information and administration.
