My Client based in Loughborough are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support the management of the end to end Supply Chain for UK Manufactured and Bought In Goods, ensuring the smooth supply of raw materials on time and in full to the Manufacturing Team. Monitoring and reporting finished goods, semi-finished goods and raw materials stock levels to ensure on time in full supply to third party and intercompany customers
The role
• Contribute to the creation of the production plan, create works order according to demand and optimum stock cover.
• Distribute works order documentation to the relevant departments in the production area
• Monitor semi-finished goods stock in line with stock cover policy and capacity
• Monitor Raw Materials stock in line with stock cover policy
• Monitor Finished Goods stock levels in line with customer requirements and stock policy
• Proactively manage inbound orders to ensure timely physical and system receipt.
• Engage in robust vendor management to ensure best value for the business and adherence to the relevant standards, including but not limited to ISO13485, ISO14001, LSAS and our own QMS
• Investigate KPI deviations, to identify root causes and suggest corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence
• Engage in Continuous Improvement Activities
• Communicate any deviations to the supply plan that impact customer delivery to the relevant stakeholders
• Engage and communicate with external vendors for relevant site services
• Take steps to reduce waste throughout the supply chain. Highlight loss and damage to the Supply chain manager
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude, moving work location and changing activities in line with business needs
• Ensure that the product being supplied meets the high quality standards expected by our Team and our customers
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills whilst positively engaging with other Team Members and the wider business
• Promote a positive team spirit
The Candidate
The ideal candidate we are looking for is someone who has come from a Supply Chain Coordinator background or someone who has come from a similar role within a supply chain department, you will be working closely with supporting the management of all supply chain activities to ensure all stock levels are as they should be. You will also be supporting general purchasing activities ensuring the correct processes are followed.
