Our client is a manufacturing company who specialise in Electronic manufacturing. They only use services accredited to certified quality standards, and have an excellent team of dedicated staff to keep up their high standards of work. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy team in Hastings.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar position, be IT literate and have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as having experience of working with in a fast-paced environment. As a Warehouse Operative you will be kitting out, supplying other departments with bulk order as per request, loading and unloading vans as well as completing general warehouse duties.
The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
Demonstrable experience with in a similar position
Possess excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Have an excellent eye for detail
Ability to complete paperwork and take stock
Awareness of health and safety in the work place
Able to work well in a team
Due to this role involving heavy lifting, the ideal candidate must be physically fit
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative would be:
Stock control
Loading and unloading
Kitting out
Working directly with other departments
Working under close supervision
Goods in/Goods out
Data entry in excel spreadsheet
General warehouse duties
Occasionally driving a company van and delivering/picking up company orders
Salary:
£9.18 per hour for 22s and under
£9.50 per hour for 23s and over
Hours:
Monday to Thursday; 7.30am – 4.30pm
Friday; 7.30am – 1.30pm
