Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Stores Inspector to join them on a permanent basis. As the Stores Inspector you will ensure that all shipments are handled correctly and meets all operation requirements.
Role: Stores Inspector
Salary: Circa £25,000 to £27,000
Contract: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 17:30
Location: West Sussex
Responsibilities
Booking goods in, checking for accuracy of goods & paperwork received
Inspecting Aircraft parts for quality requirements.
Data entry on quantum database.
Effective communication with other departments
Picking and packing parts
Despatching packages
Undertaking stock checks with accuracy
Forklift driving – previous experience not essential
Admin duties
Any other duties required in the store's environment
Experience
Stores experience is beneficial
Aviation component experience beneficial
Counterbalance / Reach Forklift licence is beneficial
Use of Quantum beneficial
A good standard of IT

Processing and handling of Hazardous material.
Work to the requirements of the company's quality standards
A proactive mindset with the willingness to learn quickly
Physically fit to undertake manual work in stores
