My client in Harrow is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer due to expansion.
Role & Responsibility
* Establishing and developing the design of Engineering solutions and systems
* Preparing concept plans and briefs for projects
* Instruct and monitor project Electrical Engineering Team and CAD Department
* Producing reports in support of the design concepts with regard to compliance with standards and best practice
* Liaising with others in the design team.
* Inspecting installations and reviewing progress quality and performance tests
* Supporting the design team and client with regard to Operation and ongoing maintenance
* Preparing Detail Design Project Specification and Drawing
* Participating in client and project meetings
* Reporting to clients on progress and project related items
* Carry out or review Electrical Design Calculations
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering / Environmental Engineering
Preferably a member of a recognised industry body:
* Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers
* Institution of Electrical Engineers
Essential Skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant guidance and standards for BSI, CIBSE, IET, ENA and Building Regulations
* Knowledge of alternative energy and sustainable design
* Experience of HV installations at 11kV and above
Desirable Skills
* Autocad/Revit/Navisworks
* Dialux/Relux
* Amtech
* BREEAM principles
Experience
* At least 5 years with a recognised company
* Project experience preferred within a number of market sectors to include commercial, retail, industrial, Data centre.
Salary: £60k
