We have a great opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join an Accountancy Practice with a distinct difference, they are dynamic, entrepreneurial and adopt a client first approach. ALWAYS!

The role will suit somebody who is self-motivated, focussed, able to work under pressure, lead by example and as an individual who can also support the Finance function, as part of a wider team.

Day to day Accounts Operation
Experienced in Monthly Management Accounts 
Preparing and filing VAT returns
Bank account and cash book accounting, with reconciliation
Responsibility for accounts payable, ensuring all supplier invoices are approved, processed and matched to relevant ledger accounts
Responsibility for accounts receivable, including raising sales invoices from customer orders
Credit Control ensuring outstanding balances are paid on time
The above are generic Accounts duties that are a part of most roles, however this position will offer variety day-to-day and offer you an opportunity to also work on-site with one, or more of your clients.
Thus, giving you a Practice / Industry balance and a distinct career difference in the Accounts world !

You will need to have competent data entry skills, a working knowledge of Xero and Receipt Bank would be ideal. AAT Level 4 as a minimum, or carrying out further studies.

It would be beneficial to be a driver in order to travel to various locations around Manchester, or at least local to easily access public transport.
