Job role; Sales Support Administrator
Location; Croydon
Salary; £29,000

The Sales Support role will be responsible for day-to-day management of administration for the Business Development and Relationship teams. This role will assist with improving customer service levels by providing excellent sales co-ordination and sales administration.

The role will work on team projects including developing a regional process and CRM plan for identifying and processing new account opportunities. There are opportunities to continue to progress in the role and company.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* First point of contact for any incoming enquiries to the Business Development Team
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers via email and phone
* Analysing sales reports to give headline data in order to boost sales and create opportunities.
* Maintaining and updating prospect and customer databases/account set up
* Provide the sales team with data reports and sales guides
* Monitor sales performance through sales tracking tools and report progress
* Adapt and evolve Salesforce CRM for the team as part of a project team, eventually becoming the Salesforce champion for the business development and onboarding process
* A natural understanding of process and the application of CRM technology to tracking business, creating reports and organising the team.
* Identify and keep up with sales trends
* Work with team to create and implement targeted sales strategies
* Identify where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvements
* Administrative duties to support the team
* Work closely with other teams to support the business
* Prepare presentations and meeting papers for team
* Attend and organize sales events
* Coordinate business development meetings with our sales targets
Person Specification
* A degree in Business Administration /Business Management or a related field preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction
* Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise
* Naturally proactive can-do attitude
* Willingness to help your team and managers be successful.

General Skills & experience
* Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques
* Ability to create team reports, track key tasks in a structured and organised fashion
* Ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry
* Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis
* Ability to pay strong attention to detail
* Proficient in computer software systems including MS Office and MS Excel
* Salesforce knowledge desirable but not essential
