Our client, a leading removals company is looking for a Sales Consultant to join their office in London.
Purpose of the Job
* To provide a first-class service to all private moving clients through prompt communication, identifying and recording client’s needs, up selling our services and securing maximum profitability for the company
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Working knowledge of EU, Worldwide and UK moving practices (willing to train in your non-home team to gain necessary knowledge)
* Strong sales and negotiating skills
* Excellent people skills and intuitive to customer needs
* Accuracy with figures for costing, pricing and data entry
* Excellent communication, administration and time management skills
* Experience of dealing with clients over the telephone, email and face to face
* Good IT abilities – including MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to identify and resolve problems
* Ability to manage and prioritise jobs
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail and a professional mind-set
Main Accountabilities and How These Are Achieved*
* Act as the first point of contact for all clients including UK, European, International, Corporate and Trade clients.
* Identify and Maximise opportunities to sell key services such as storage and full value protection through a proactive approach and upselling 3rd party services
* Build long term relationships with new / existing clients and suppliers
* Pay attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.
* Handling enquiries and turning them into sales opportunities through focussed questions and good listening skills
* Contacting potential clients via telephone and email
* Provide quotations based on information obtained yourself or arrange a survey for an estimator to attend a site survey
* Quotation Production – input data accurately into moveware. Obtain multiple rates from suppliers seeking a quality supplier at the best price
* Price in accordance with availability, move date, insurance value, competition and client expectations. Refer to Sales Manager for guidance to ensure in line with company policy
* Manage existing storage client’s requests for delivery from store
* Follow up all quotations/enquiries – co-ordinate daily follow up process through diary actions on moveware and daily monitoring
* Work in-line with KPI’s
The salary would be between £30-38K depending on experience + Commissions
