Time 4 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Purchase Ledger / Data Entry Clerk based in Swansea working for one of the UK`s Mechanical and Electrical service providers.

As Purchase Ledger/ Data Entry Clerk your main duties will include matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements, and working out VAT payments. You will be working to assist the accounts department and as part of the finance team.

As Purchase Ledger / Data entry Clerk you will be joining a highly successful, fast paced and energized working environment and working partly on your own on certain tasks but also as part of a large and very supportive group.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.am – 5pm

Role requirements:

* Good all round purchase ledger order and date entry clerk

* Handle incoming paperwork.

* Imputing data on computer system

* Post in to accounts package for customer accounts.

* Reconcile customer accounts

* Assist in processing payments when due.

* Matching and coding invoices

* Running BACS Papers

* Chase incoming internal paperwork e.g. PO’s, delivery notes etc

Key requirements for the role:

As an Administrator, you should ideally be able to demonstrate a relevant background in a similar office-based role, and display the following skills and attributes:

* Good communication, interpersonal skills and an attention to detail.

* Pleasant and confident phone manner.

* Excellent written/typed communications and note keeping.

* Excellent organisation skills, ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workloads to aid productivity and work to work to deadlines.

* Ability to work both in a team and independently.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

* Be flexible, honest and respectful.

* Ability to input data into systems.

* Excellent IT skills including working within a Windows environment and use of Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.

* Ability to learn and adapt to working in multiple software applications.

Please note: due to our work in the defense sector, the successful candidate may be required to undertake a security vetting process.
