Job Purpose:

The production planner oversees customer order entry and scheduling manufacturing processes to meet customer demand. The production planner works closely with a production team to ensure plant capacity can meet production and customer schedules.

Main Duties and responsibilities

Answering emails
General administration work
Liaising with shop floor staff
To schedule weekly production runs
Chasing customers
Call handlingYou will be expected to carry out any other task which is deemed reasonable and within your capabilities. Full training will be given where necessary.
