ion-tec are currently looking to recruit an experience Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well established heavy engineering, manufacturing company based in the Billingham area.

Salary, Shifts, Benefits
* £37,758 P/A
* Hours –
* 1 week of 06:00-13:45
* 1 week of 14:00-19:00
* 1 week of 21:00-06:00
* 3 Day weekend on Night Shift
* 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* 5% Employee & 5% Employer Pension Contribution Scheme
Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting, repair and replacement of the Electrical systems in a timely and logical manner.
* Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research.
* Assist in the development of critically centred preventative and proactive maintenance regimes.
* To maintain equipment information and service files, including the involvement in spare parts management, data entry and procurement.
* Liaise with and assist in the managing of third-party contractors including issuance of Permit to Works.
* Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
* Experience in an engineering discipline within heavy industry.
* Time served apprenticeship
* Capable and experienced in PLCs and Automation
* Experience of maintaining machinery and equipment.
* Experience of foundry equipment and rotating equipment is desirable.
* Flexible attitude towards selection of tasks.
* The ability to read engineering drawings.
* Willingness to cross train with colleagues.
* Experience of working in a proactive maintenance department.
* Good H&S and environmental awareness.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Competent working with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
