Mortgage Administrator

Location: Borehamwood – (Hybrid considered)

Salary: Highly Competitive with excellent benefits and bonus.
(Full time however part time could be considered)

Working as part of the team at an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Plc, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mortgage Administrator. You will be part of a fast-paced team working within a smaller division of the practice.
Your role will involve all aspects of Mortgage Administration including Suitability report writing, fact finds, data entry and completion of compliance documentation. You will be liaising with clients, lenders, and solicitors.

The role: Mortgage Administrator

You will provide a full administrative service to the team, including:

* Creating documents & updating our database

* Collation of data

* Writing Suitability Reports

* Completion of the Fact Finds

* Completion of compliance documentation

* Liaising with 3rd parties, lenders, solicitors, clients

* Diary Management

* General administrative duties as required

You will provide advice, guidance and updates to clients and lenders. These situations can be highly emotional or of a sensitive nature which may require the use of excellent negotiating and empathetic skills to reach a satisfactory outcome.
You will be responsible for building strong working relationships with clients and lenders and for maintaining the client database, ensuring information is regularly checked and updated.

The Person: Mortgage Administrator

* You will have been working as a Mortgage Administrator and have a genuine interest in financial services which you are looking to develop

* You are a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and have strong numerical and written skills

* You are organised and able to work using your initiative within a busy team

* It is essential that as our Mortgage Administrator you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion

* A relevant qualification would be useful but is not essential
