Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Mechanical Estimator for our client a leading mechanical company who are a provider of comprehensive solutions.
We are seeking a driven Mechanical Estimator to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates for mechanical projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail to support the company's growth.
Responsibilities
* Analyse project plans and blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials required
* Calculate labour, material, and equipment costs to prepare accurate project estimates
* Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals for potential projects
* Clearly communicate cost breakdowns, timelines, and project specifications to internal stakeholders and clients
* Engage with clients to understand their requirements and expectations
* Participate in meetings and presentations to discuss project estimates and proposals
Experience
* Experience as a Mechanical Estimator in a similar industry
* Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
* Proficient IT skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in estimating.
Offering
* Salary DOE
* Hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
