Laboratory assistant position within an international Microbiology testing laboratory!
This is a contract role with high potential extension
Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a Microbiology laboratory who are looking for multiple laboratory support staff to join their team based in Galashiels
Key responsibilities:
Process testing samples and data entry
Sample preparation and sample reception
Weighing and measuring samples
Work within a team to achieve targets
Follow require guidelines in the laboratory
Requirements:
For this role you'll need to be able to follow strict instructions and guidelines.
Happy to consider candidates who previously worked in fast paced environments
Excellent IT skills ( MS office packages)
Previous experience in working within production/ warehouse role would be advantageous
Attention to details
Excellent written and communication skills
You will be a self-motivated hard working individual and thrive on delivering exceptional results.
Scientific degree would be advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided
