Overview

Our client is a specialist construction related business that operates throughout the UK and internationally and they are now looking to recruit a Financial Controller / Finance Manager / Management Accountant to be the number one finance person for the business and oversee all aspects of accounting and financial management.

Duties will include:

· Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary

· Systems and process improvements

· CIS paperwork.

· Cashflow management

· Produce budgets and forecasts

· Preparation of Fortnightly Payroll using Sage 50 Cloud Payroll for both Staff and hourly paid personnel.

· Creation of Sales Invoices and data entry of Purchase Invoices using Sage 50 Accounts.

· Data entry of bank transactions to sales, purchase and general ledger.

· Bank Reconciliations

· Supplier Statement Reconciliations.

· Respond to any queries, both internal and external.

· Build relationships with key customers.

This is a hands-on, highly varied role where you will work closely with the Board of Directors in guiding the future growth of the business and there is clear scope for you to become the Finance Director and build a finance team below you as the business expands.

Any experience of working in the construction sector would be beneficial but all candidates with the relevant accounting skills and experience will be considered and interviews are ongoing so apply now
