Management Accountant/ Finance Manager – Spider is advertising on behalf of an established family run Arable Farming Partnership, who grow and bottle their own cold pressed rapeseed oil, manage a chicken farm, and green energy businesses in Solar Panels and Ground Source Heating. They are seeking an experienced Management Accountant/Finance Manager to join their team, based in Heveningham, Suffolk on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Farm Director the successful Management Accountant/ Finance Manager will a ‘numbers’ person who will support the Directors/ Partners in managing the 4 diverse businesses, ensuring a happy and productive office environment. You will help the company with the monthly management accounts and detailed costings, but to also attend to the following responsibilities for all four companies as part of a team of 3:
* Monthly management accounts and supplying year end data to accountants.
* VAT preparation for all businesses.
* Preparation and oversee the budgets, results, cashflows and detailed costings.
* Monitor and manage the DEAR Inventory Management system.
* Carry out payroll and pension monitoring.
* Prepare R&D Tax Credit for accountants’ submission.
* Managing the nominal ledger, maintaining fixed asset registers.
* Reconciling the balance sheets and minimal data entry.
As the successful Management Accountant/ Finance Manager you will hold an accountancy qualification of a minimum of AAT level 3. Have advanced Microsoft, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Would be an advantage if you also have QuickBooks account package and manufacturing experience. You will be enthusiastic and have a positive outlook, working as part of a team and take responsibility.
On offer is an attractive salary of £30000-£45000 per annum, depending upon experience. This role will be office based and the standard hours are 8:00 am to 5 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
