Position Summary:
My client are seeking a meticulous and organised Document Controller to join thier team. This role will be integral to maintaining our high standards by managing and overseeing the control of technical documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for our engineering and production teams. As our Document Controller, you will play a key role in facilitating communication, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Document Management: Oversee, manage, and update all technical documents, including blueprints, technical drawings, and quality standards, ensuring accuracy and version control.
* Compliance: Ensure that all documentation complies with internal quality control standards and industry regulations, especially for aerospace and defense sectors.
* Communication Facilitation: Serve as a point of contact between teams, ensuring clear communication of document updates, revisions, and approvals.
* Data Organization: Maintain a structured filing system to allow efficient document retrieval and tracking, adhering to companies document control protocols.
* Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring document readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in document control procedures, working proactively to implement best practices for streamlined workflows.
Requirements:
* Experience: 2+ years in a document control or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or aerospace environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy
* Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support smooth project workflows.
