A BRAND-NEW opportunity for a Desk Based Sales Agent has become available within a leading telecommunications provider. As a Desk Based Sales Agent, you will be working as part of a driven and lively team with the support of the Desk Based Sales Manager. The Desk Sales Agent is responsible for delivering the sales cycle for existing and prospective business customers in their given territory. This role identifies appointment opportunities, within their territory, build successful customer relationships and closes sales opportunities.
This role will be office desk based, focusing on calling clients within a Local territory.
Responsibilities of the Desk Based Sales Agent
Uncovering and identifying new business sales opportunities, for new and existing customers.
Identifying appointment opportunities and setting appointments for existing, lapsed, and new customers.
Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way
Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system, accurately and on time.
To sell the full range of products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products, and services to these customers
Resolving customer complaints where necessary and maintaining ownership
Carrying out other duties as requested by the team on a business need basisDesk Based Sales Agent Requirements
A Successful track record within sales, ideally gained within the telecoms industry
Enthusiasm and driven for success
Excellent telephone manner
Understanding and experience in the B2B market
Ability to create new sales opportunities
Excellent communication and rapport building skills
Ability to negotiate and close high contract value deals
Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases
Accurate and timely data entry skills
Evidence of being able to recognize sales opportunities
Can demonstrate ability to handle high workloads and prioritize tasks
