Liberty CL Recruitment is absolutely delighted to be partnering with our UK-wide client who are looking for a Customer Service Claims Handler to join their team.
The main purpose of this Customer Service role is to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible and to liaise with customers and third parties to resolve outstanding claims effectively.
Some of your duties will include:
* Providing a high-quality, informative customer service,
* Resolving customer queries or complaints over the phone and referring on to other points of contact, if necessary,
* Making phone calls to third parties (who will be expecting your call) to discuss their options and the best way for them to proceed with their claim,
* Completing data entry tasks and typing notes on the company database.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you enjoy working in a customer-focused role, and that you would be comfortable working in an office environment and on the telephone.
As an individual you will have;
* Good communication skills and enjoy speaking to customers daily,
* The desire to learn and take on any training offered to you,
* Some computer-based experience (including use of Microsoft Office).

* You will be offered a starting salary of £20,000 P/A which will rise to £21,700 P/A with annual pay reviews!

* We have both full time and part time opportunities available. Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week and part time hours available are from 22.5 hours per week.
* The customer services department is open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on a Saturday and 11am to 4pm on a Sunday.
* Both full time and part time applicants will need to be flexible to work 1 x late finish per week (until 8pm).
* You will also need to be flexible to work 1 x weekend day (Saturday OR Sunday) in every 3 weekends and you will get a mid-week day off that week instead.
Please note;
* Long-term this role will be a hybrid opportunity, meaning you will work from home between 65 & 85% of your working week.
* Full training will be provided; part-time candidates will need to do the first 2-3 weeks Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm to complete a mandatory training course.
