Job Title: CSCS Blue Carded Shuttering Carpenters
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Duration: Ongoing Works
Pyramid Recruitment is seeking several skilled shuttering carpenters for an ongoing project in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with Proprietary Formwork Systems, focusing on beams, soffits, kickers, and pre-cast units, ensuring safe methods of work.
* Demonstrate knowledge and competency in shuttering carpentry.
* Proficient with hand and power tools.
* Ability to lift and handle heavy objects.
* Competent in performing routine manual tasks.
* Work to precise lines and levels, meeting high tolerances.
* Understand and execute tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
* CSCS Skilled Worker Card (BLUE) (mandatory).
* Level 3 qualification in Formwork (preferred): Competency in constructing complex stairs, landings, ramps, inclined, curved, or circular structures.
* Working at Heights: Training such as Scissor Lift, IPAF, and Harness Training (preferred).
* Abrasive Wheels (preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret both paper and 3D model drawings.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Overtime Rates:
* Overtime A (Saturday): £33.63 per hour (first 4 hours at time and a half, thereafter double time).
* Overtime B (Sunday): £44.84 per hour.
* Basic Hours: 39 hours per week, plus 9 hours at time and a half, with paid breaks totaling 2.5 hours = Total 50.5 hours.
* Bonus Scheme: Available after 2 months.
* Lodge: Paid back to you.
* Pension Scheme.
* Payment: Every 2 weeks.
