Overview
Our public sector client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This role is currently temporary ongoing until 31/12/22. There is a very good chance this role will be extended. This is a full time role, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday. You will usually work 8-4/9-5. The pay rate for this role is £10.32 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.
This role is based at Stoke on Trent Combined Courts but you may be required to work at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
As a court usher you will be the first point of contact for court users. You will be required to give them excellent customer service. Your duties will include:
– Meeting and greeting court users
– Giving directions to court rooms
– Assisting with the set up of hearing rooms
– Ensuring court hearings are running smoothly
– Using in house data bases
– Data entry
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong customer service skills, you will be dealing with people from all walks of life.
