THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading Mechanical Company providing top quality heating and plumbing services to clients around the Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Swindon area. Their client base ranges from small domestic and private customers, through to local organisations and businesses and large national corporations. They also work on projects for many prestigious companies throughout the UK on a commercial basis.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a full-time on-site role located in and around Bristol for a Commercial Gas Engineer working on natural gas, LPG, and oil boiler systems. You will be responsible for installation and breakdown maintenance of heating, ventilation, and, if certified, air conditioning systems. You will carry out safety checks to ensure that the systems are operating efficiently and to the highest standards whilst adhering to legal requirements.
This role requires experience in both Commercial and Domestic areas, although a high proportion will be Commercial work. The successful person will form part of a strong 7 man Engineer team along with the Service Manager and be expected to be largely self sufficient in managing their own time and customers.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Should have previous experience within a similar role
Should be qualified in commercial & domestic natural gas, LPG & oil
Holding certification in any additional field, i.e. Part P, COMCAT, F-GAS, etc would be advantageous
Hold current CSCS card
Hold DBS dated within 3 years, or be willing for a DBS check to be carried out
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Must hold full valid UK drivers licence (max. 3 points)
Must be fit and healthy to carry out a wide range of physical activities
REMUNERATION
Annual salary is between £35,000-£45,000 plus Overtime, Standby Allowance, Option to join NEST pension scheme, Sick pay, Up-skill training allowing for further salary increments, Company van and PPE and iPhone/iPad
