Overview

We are currently looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client who is a specialist Combustion Services company and has been established for many years.
Basic Salary: to £52,000 – dep on experience plus overtime and on call earnings can be in excess of £60k+
Location: London inside M25
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour for lunch) with occaisional overtime and on call rota of 1 in 12 on average. The company operates a job finish policy so often Engineers who start early can finish early and are not expected to hang around site until 5pm.
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer who has Burner/boiler experience – Engineers with typical experience of manufacturers such as Nu-way, Saacke, Weishaupt, Ecoflame, Dunphy, Clyde and Riello etc
As the Commercial Gas Engineer you will be conversant with all aspects of industrial and commercial, gas & oil fired systems, dual fuel and forced draught systems. You will also have strong diagnostic/fault finding and commissioning skills, some knowledge of BMS controls would also be advantageous.
Suitable candidates must have current ACS – CODNCO1/COCN1 Core Commercial along with associated elements, a clean UK driving license preferred, be smart and presentable, customer facing and be willing to succeed.

* Call out in 1 in 10/12, when you are called out you will get a minimum 4 hours paid at double time. Standby pay is £80 per week.

* Engineers are expected to be on site at 8am, generally meaning a mid afternoon finish.
