A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join an award winning European leader that remanufactures PC printer inkjet cartridges as well as developing and selling an amazing range of Polaroid branded 3D Printers and Pens.
We are looking for an Assistant Distribution and Warehouse Manager to join our team and take responsibility for warehouse operations and to support the Distribution Manager.

Office based role, NW10
£30,000 to £32,000 Base Salary

About Us:
We are Europe’s longest established and largest collector and remanufacturer of inkjet cartridges. Since we were established in 1992, we have been at the forefront of the European cartridge remanufacturing industry and are recognised as one the foremost technical innovators in the industry.
We specialise in the supply of high quality private-label cartridges for leading UK and European high street, mail order and web-based channels as well as major office supplies’ resellers. The independent trade magazine, ‘The Recycler’, named us as the number one recycler of inkjet cartridges in the world!
In 2017 the Company diversified into production of 3D printers and pens. Our 3D pen is sold under the Polaroid brand and licence. The role will be responsible for both inkjet and 3D pen sales.
The factory, collections processing centre, distribution centre and head office are based in Park Royal, North West London. The group’s sales currently exceed £8 million and we employ around 70 staff with operations covering the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Inventory:
+ Initial point of contact for Warehouse Operatives in the allocation of work and resource management.
+ Acceptance and checking of goods received from internal and external suppliers
+ Data entry via ‘Goods Receipt’, ‘Goods Issue’ and ‘Stock Transfer’ on SAP B1
+ Ensuring internal systems (Inventory Management / SAP) reflect current stock positions and highlighting and investigating discrepancies
+ Supervising the ‘pick and pack’ of finished product by Warehouse Operatives.
+ Ensuring internal material requisitions are completed accurately and efficiently by Warehouse Operatives.
+ Organising and managing regular stock takes.
+ Other tasks as required according to the needs of the business
Covering Distribution Manager as required, including but not limited to:
+ Issuing picklist to Warehouse Operatives
+ Arranging delivery of goods via land, sea and air for import and export
+ Preparing import/export commercial documentation for post-Brexit shipments to/from the EU and other regions.
+ Attending to day-to-day logistics and distribution administration tasks as directed
+ Ensuring consignments are checked and meet clients’ specifications.
+ Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
Key Skills Required:
+ Supervisory experience within a warehouse/factory environment.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft packages outlook, Word, Excel,
+ Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
+ Good understanding of QC measures and procedures
+ Understanding of supply chain / warehouse operations and best practice
+ Knowledge of H&S and environmental requirements within a warehouse / manufacturing context
Attributes:
+ Ability to work on own initiative and manage teams and individuals
+ Ability to work collaboratively with Logistics and Distribution team and other departments
+ Should be in good health as role involves some lifting
+ Ability to work at height within adequate safety tools and the use of heavy machinery
+ Management skills to manage teams and individuals effectively on time and to budget and in line with business and Health & Safety procedures
+ Ability to introduce change effectively to work teams and practices
+ Proven problem-solving ability
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ Positive ‘can do, will do’ attitude
Qualifications / Training:
+ Fork lift truck licence
+ Manual handling training
+ Live within 10 miles or one hour travel (whichever is the shortest) of NW10
