Overview

Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a family business based in Derbyshire, who are a well-established specialist contractor within the specialising in Demolition, Earthworks, and land remediation within the demolition construction industry. Due to rapid expansion through hard work and a variety of new contracts being won our client are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant.

You will be responsible for:

• Data entry of purchase and supplier invoices on to Sage 50 Accounts

• Control of purchase invoices for supplier and subcontractor invoices

• Check incoming invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes

• Check subcontractor invoices against orders or with the QS to gain authorisation to pass the invoice for payment

• Manage and follow up purchase invoice queries

• Ensure all suppliers details and bank details for new suppliers are correct

• Filing / admin as required

What is required.

* Good organisational and time management skills

* Experience within the construction industry (Preferable)

* Excellent analytical skills

* Attention to detail

* Interpersonal and communication skills

* Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping practices

* Sage 50 Accounts experience

* Strong IT Skills

In return my client offers £20,000-£22,000.
