Overview
Experience Mechanical Engineer required for busy machinery manufacturer. You will be involved in all aspects of Build, Assembly using Engineering Drawings followed by Test and Site Installations in the UK and abroad. This will include using various hand tools, cutting machines, Mill and lathes. Some basic wiring will be involved. Own tools will be required.
Strong technical background and assembly experience essential for this role including.
* Ability to read and understand 2D & 3D CAD drawings.
* Mechanical assembly using various hand and power tools
* Able to operate a lathe and milling machine
* Methodical approach to assembly and site installations.
* Basic Wiring experience beneficial
* Automation background beneficial
* Product training will be provided
* Able to work away for a few weeks at a time as required
* Working away in the UK and Europe would be c30% of the time.
* Driving licence and own vehicle
* Own Tools required
* Good basic salary with overtime and site payments available giving an additional c£10-£12k
