Overview
Tradebe Inutec are looking for an experienced Radiochemistry Manager for our nuclear licensed site in Dorset.
In this key role you will be responsible for the overall management of the analytical services function, performing chemical and radiochemical analyses and supporting operations in the laboratories. With extensive experience and knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation you will be responsible for technical management and QA.

What we need:
* Experience of radiochemistry labs – management, analytical techniques and instrumentation
* Previous experience of QA/QC in similar/related industry – pharma, R&D, manufacturing
* Chemistry degree
* Experience of laboratory and personnel management, including staff training and development
The role:
* Represent the Analytical Chemistry Services team technically on external meetings
* Liaise with customers, and assist Commercial with project planning, costings and proposals
* Assist with weekly programme schedules, monitoring and regulation, staff/laboratory metrics and financial aspects of analytical projects including SAP
* Prepare/review analytical QA documentation, as needed
* Receive and log samples into the sample management system
* Prepare samples for analysis and perform analyses as per the QA wallet
* Calibrate instruments and equipment as per their schedule
* Ensure instrument performance checks have been completed and data entry into analysis spreadsheet for checking
* Data interpretation and method troubleshooting and ensuring QA checks are carried out and recorded
* Develop new/existing analytical techniques and develop more efficient working practices
* Ensure appropriate QA and safe working practices are employed
* Identify, implement and comply with applicable security, safety, health, environmental, quality, company procedures/policy, legislative and regulatory requirements
