dBD Communications is a family led company providing communication solutions to a variety of industries. We have an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join our Administration team. This is a full time, permanent role based at our offices on Burnt Mills Industrial Estate, Basildon.

Job Specification:

· Purchasing as directed by the business

· Commercial administration including updating to BOM’s as directed by engineering

· Maintaining spreadsheets (Excel)

· Support, sales and hire enquiries, quotes and order processing

· Arrange courier collections and returns

· Organise and purchase lunch for external/internal meetings if required

· Complete research tasks on a case by case basis

· Support data entry as directed

· Run weekly kitting lists for operational needs and other operational administration as required.

· Support site cleanliness, and cover holidays

· Answering calls and emails, dealing with enquiries

· Support Customer care calls, file opening and closing as directed

In addition to your normal duties, you may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Education and Experience

· Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, word, Excel) in a business environment.

· Ability to prioritise own workload in an efficient manner

· Understand the importance of confidentiality

· A driven, friendly, presentable and enthusiastic person

· Strong oral and written communication skills required.

· Excellent work ethic and intuitive administrative skills

· Excellent relationship building skills with customers and suppliers.

· Attention to detail

· Knowledge of Sage 200, desirable

· Commercial awareness desirable

We are looking for an individual with strong coordination / administration skills, good IT skills and excellent communication skills. You must also be proactive, friendly and have excellent attention to detail. This role will ideally suit someone who has previous administration experience and is highly organised. We offer free onsite parking.

Additional pay:

· Included in Company bonus scheme after one years of service

Schedule/holidays:

· 8 hour days

· SS13 1LS: reliably commute and or plan journeys before starting work (required)

· 33 days holiday (Including bank holidays)
