Job Type – Permanent 

Salary – £47,000 to £58,000

Our client is looking for a pro- active Senior estimator to join the company. The company is looking for someone experienced in tendering electrical connections and confident in using AutoCAD and google earth. 

Key responsibilities will include:  

Providing quotations and tenders for private networks, DNO/IDNO new connection works and turnkey projects utalising Sinewave’s in-house teams and supply chain.

Talking to manufacturers to develop partnerships for a turnkey solutions.

Following up quotations and bringing feedback to the tendering and sales team for unsuccessful quotations.

Attend site surveys, or tender interviews as necessary.

Evaluate supplier and subcontract returns to ensure compliance with the tender specification/documentation.

Accurately undertake any necessary take-offs of drawings and schedules and perform data entry into the estimating software selected by the business. Follow all company procedures for enquiry and tender handling.

Generate commentary regarding exclusions and clarifications associated with the return offer.

Oversee the compilation of the tender return to ensure all elements are accounted for prior to submittal.

Working with various business systems to follow company processes and maintain data integrity.

Supporting the Estimations Manager on quote approvals.

Preparation of complex tenders.

Candidate Requirement's:

Is proficient in the use of productivity and collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.

Has excellent communication, including ability to adapt communication styles and outstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.

Has excellent attention to detail i.e. the ability to produce high quality proposals with minimal supervision.

Has the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Is willing to undertake reasonable business travel as required.

Has extensive knowledge in the market.
