The Position
Applications are invited to apply for the position of Customer Relations and Account Assistant at our Fallen Stock site based in Rampisham, Dorset. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The temporary contract is expected to last for 6 months, although there is scope for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
As a Customer Relations and Account Assistant your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:
Contacting and welcoming new customers promoting our services.
Set up new customer accounts on our collection and invoicing system.
Monitor social media and website requests, updating our social media content.
Contacting existing customers maintaining our excellent service and relationships.
Reconcile customer account information on our databases.
Assist in preparation to migrate customer accounts to a provisioned CRM/invoicing systems.
Monitor and update customer price lists when due for review.
Assist with credit control – discuss overdue accounts with our customers, sending reminder letters and taking payments over the phone on a weekly basis.
Load and print weekly collection reports for the management and comparing data.
Assist with ad hoc customer and service-related tasks as required by Management.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Knowledge of the agricultural sector is desirable.
Experience of working with CRM/invoicing is desirable.
Data entry/analysis experience.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to work individually or as part of a team.
Be able to prioritise workload.
