We are working with a manufacturing client in Redditch who, due to massive growth, are seeking 2 experienced Press Toolmakers to join their team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Key Responsibilities of the Press Toolmaker will include but not be limited to:
The manufacture and maintenance of press tools, jigs, and fixtures
Utilising traditional toolroom equipment and operating Wire Erosion/EDM machines.
Maintaining a safe working environment within the toolroom. The ideal candidate for the Press Toolmaker will have the following Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferably automotive or aerospace.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
CAD experience (desirable but not essential)
Have good verbal and written communication skill.
Have good attention to detail.
Have worked in a metalwork manufacturing environment.
Hold a relevant Manufacturing/Engineering qualification or have considerable practical experience in a similar environment. In return, the Press Toolmaker can expect to receive a competitive salary and package, work a 37.5hour week – working hours can be flexible with start times. Benefits include – 3% employer pension contribution, company sick pay, which increases based on length of service, employee assistance program.
