Equine Veterinarian – Murrumbateman. New South Wales $75k – $90k DOE plus car.
You’re a good vet, an adventurous vet who is starting to get itchy feet.
Things change, circumstances change and the thought of moving overseas to utilise your skills excites you.
What if we knew of a mobile horse practice in Murrumbateman, New South Wales. Australia. A modern practice with all the kit, a fun friendly and supportive team who wants the best for patient and practice.
Luckily, we do and this one is hiring.
It’s a big step, we understand that, curious, excited, an adventure on the other side of the world? Tempted, then read on.
Our client was founded in 2010 and in a very short time has rapidly expanded to service the discerning client and their horses.
The practice is based in Murrumbateman (close to the NSW/ACT border) with the vet centre on acreage, and the ambulatory practice servicing the greater Canberra region and Southern NSW.
Owned by a vet and run like an independent, not a chain. Without the shackles of a large vet group and the owner on-site, decisions can be made quickly and ideas are encouraged. They pride themselves on the highest level of care at affordable prices.
This practice has a real ‘laid back family feel,’ where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. A strong team that wants the best for patients and practice.
They are super flexible when it comes to experience, from a new grad upwards but a kind, emphatic person is just as important to them as previous experience.
A varied caseload is on offer from performance horses to your golden oldies, with a large focus on equine dentistry this must be an area of interest.
They don’t believe in working their team into the ground, they want you rested and refreshed so you can be at your best. That’s why they offer a flexible roster, work 2,3, or 4 days a week it’s up to you.
With some OOH but this again is an option. If you do work OOH’s 100% of the fees goes to you. There aren’t many practices that can boast this!
So, what’s in it for you? £40k-£48k per annum DOE. A car, mobile phone, CPD allowance, AVA and EVA membership fees paid for, accommodation on arrival, plus 4 weeks annual leave, more can be arranged unpaid if interested.
Located two hours from the beach and two hours from the snow this a fantastic place to live with plenty going on. Surrounded by nature, walking trials, various sports, events, and festivals not to mention excellent bars and restaurants locally what's not to like?
So, what’s next?
Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell.
Australia has it all, enjoy being a vet on the other side of the world
