Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership to find a Document Controller within a well-established engineering company based in Newport.

The company is very stable, has been around for many years and has had a lot of success over time, they are looking to expand, have an exceptionally friendly team with a very small team turnover. This role is due to expansion and an increase in business. Full training will be provided on products and systems.

Document Controller Benefits package:

Competitive salary between £24,000 and £28,000 dependant on experience
Hours Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.45pm and Friday 8am to 12 midday

Free ParkingDocument Controller Duties:

Review customer orders for Supplier Document Requirement Lists
Generate document lists based on the Supplier requirement lists
Process customer documentation through to approval
Facilitate document revisions and amendments in line with customer feedback
Maintain the supplier requirements list system to ensure it is continually up to date
Complete project documentation dossier
Generate certification packs for products and spares kits
Conduct internal audits in line with system requirements
Administrate customer complaint process and database
All documents to be submitted two weeks from processing in accordance with the customer supplier document requirement list from date of order
Obtaining document approval from various teams prior to invoicing
Control of the material filing system ensuring identification and traceability is maintained throughout the business
Ensure product certification pack is available upon dispatch of product
Customer complaints are logged and processed against requirementsDocument Controller Essential Experience:

Basic understanding of engineering processes/ technical engineering drawings or specifications
Document control – uploading of documents/certificates/tenders to internal systems to make available for other internal teams, customers or project management
Confident to liaise with customers, internal colleagues and external suppliers
Data entry – efficient and accurate input of data
Health and safety aware
Strong I.T. skills using various Customer Management systems (CRM) and Excel
Strong administration skills
Good Organisational Skills, able to prioritise your workloadPrivacy and General Data Protection Policy
