Our wonderful client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their busy and growing Finance team. This will be a temporary ongoing contract and it will be a great opportunity to join a great Public Sector organisation based in South Shields.

Description

As the Accounts Receivable Clerk your key responsibilities will be to;

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables's data

Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

Verify discrepancies by and resolve client's billing issues

Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients

Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Profile

The successful Accounts Receivable Clerk will;

Have experience in a similar role
Have Credit Control experience
Have proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Have data entry skills
Have hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
Be proficient in MS Office
Have customer service and negotiation skills
Have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailJob Offer
